LATEST UPDATE ABOUT ASUU STRIKE

ABUJA—SIX days after a meeting between the Senate and the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU ended in stalemate, another interface between both parties again ended in deadlock yesterday. At the end of the eight hours meeting which ended 8.32 pm last night, there was no concrete agreement between the university lecturers and the lawmakers.

Addressing journalists after the meeting, Chairman, Senate Committee on Tertiary Education, Senator Jibrin Barau, APC, Kano North, said both parties agreed with some of the issues raised, except one that had to do with their earned allowances, adding that they (ASUU) were going to make consultations with their members on the way forward.

ASUU-STRIKE Barau said: “You can see we have spent about 8 hours in this very important meeting. We have deliberated and thank God we have dealt with all the issues and we have agreed in all the issues except one. “We have adjourned to make consultations, every sections of the meeting will get back to his constituency and report to it what transpired.

At a later that we will reconvene to thrash out the remaining issues. “Is about the earned allowances that need to be paid the university lecturers, the government due to the paucity of funds proposed certain amount of money but ASUU thought otherwise that the money was quite inadequate but he’s going back to his members to report to them and make consultations and later get back to us. “But we do hope they come up with good news that they have accepted the government offers”

Efforts to speak to ASUU to get their own side of the story proved abortive as the president refused to speak with journalists. Meanwhile, ASUU yesterday said meetings and consultations were ongoing to ensure that government did the needful

AISHA MUHAMMODU URGED NIGERIANS TO CHERISH AND NURTURE A STRONG FAMILY

Aisha Buhari, the wife of the president, said on Monday that strong family values should be cherished and nurtured to surmount the challenges of poverty and crime in the country.

She gave the advice in Lagos while declaring open the three-day 16th National Women Conference organised by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO).

The conference has as its theme: “Strong Family, Strong Nation.’’
The president’s wife, represented by the wife of the Imo State Governor, Nneoma Okorocha, said that that love, support, friendship and guidance were key qualities necessary in the family.

We must continue to emphasise the importance of strong family values.
“Poverty, crime and declining school performance are some of the challenges a country could face when families are not cohesive,” she said.

Mrs Buhari enjoined participants to take advantage of the array of topics to be discussed and see the conference as a knowledge-based one to enrich their lives.
“The conference also provides a forum for women to deliberate on issues that affect us, our families, communities and the nation at large.

Our core concern should be how we can make a positive impact on ourselves as women and our society, she enunciated.

Also speaking, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State said his administration had implemented many policies to enable women thrive.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
He pledged to continue to ensure that the rights of women and girls were protected to ensure a peaceful and progressive society.
The governor said that the family unit was very important to the overall development of any nation.

The family is the foundation and smallest unit of any nation. The heart and conscience of a nation is formed, to a large extent, in the family.

With strong families, we can build a strong nation; but strong families will only exist in a society where nobody is left behind, where everybody has a voice and a stake,” Mr. Ambode said.

He described women as the glue that held families together.
According to him, an empowered woman, with a sense of self-esteem, will be better positioned to make a success of her career and at the same time be a pillar of strength for the family.

He said that his administration was totally committed to empowering women and also protecting the girl-child against all forms of negative vices to create platforms for families to bond and recreate.

In his goodwill message, Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State said the theme of the conference was apt, as the myriad of problems facing the country were due to the erosion of family values.

His Osun State counterpart, Rauf Aregbesola, said that women were the foundation of families, and as such, the values they passed on to their children reflected greatly on the society.
In her remarks, wife of the Lagos State governor, Bolanle Ambode, said the theme was carefully chosen for participants to rub minds on the best ways to tackle some of the social challenges confronting the nation.

Most of the social challenges currently confronting our country like drug addiction, cultism, teenage pregnancy, kidnapping, armed robbery, among others, have their foundation in dysfunctional family units,’’ she said.

According to her, to build a strong and virile country, strong family units must be built.

Oluremi-Tinubu1 The highlights of the event include the investiture of Oluremi Tinubu as the Grand Matron of COWLSO and the presentation of Inspirational Woman of the year award to a beauty entrepreneur, Tara Fela-Durotoye.

AKEREDOLU FLAG OFF CAMPAIGN

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Rotimi Akeredolu, on Monday launched his governorship campaign at Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area, with a promise to reposition the state if elected.

Mr. Akeredolu who enjoined the people of the state to vote for his party in order to join the progressives states in the south west, promised to tackle decay in the infrastructural facilities in the state.

While addressing the crowd of supporters, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria noted the state of infrastructural decay across the state, assuring that his party would make improved infrastructure its focus when voted into office.

According to him, his government would implement only people-oriented programmes that would directly and positively impact on the lives of the people.
He said over N500 billion accrued to the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (OSOPADEC) since the lifespan of the Mimiko administration, but there was nothing to show for it.

The candidate said the state had been marginalized in the scheme of things in the country for so long, but the APC was set to make the state ascend its pride of place in the country.

Mr. Akeredolu’s campaign starts a bit late for the November 26 elections, following the controversies which dogged his nomination as the APC candidate.

He has made efforts to reconcile aggrieved members who vowed not to accept his candidature, despite the decision of the party’s national working committee.

In spite of the setbacks, he has expressed optimism that the APC will win the governorship election.

A former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, is still with the commission since last week Monday when he voluntarily surrendered himself after staying months away from the country.
Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Jonathan campaign spokesperson, was arrested on Friday and is still with the commission.

FORBIDDEN THINGS IN OBA OF BENIN PALACE

The over 900 years old palace of the Oba of Benin is located in the heart of Benin, the Edo State capital. It is adjacent to the Airport Road.

The palace attracts thousands of visitors yearly even though the visitors are restricted to certain areas. The chiefs in the palace know the various societies they belong to and their functions. Only the Oba understands the language of the palace societies.

Visitors are forbidden to do certain things in the palace, such as taking sand from the palace. The duties of some chiefs are to ensure that nobody enters the palace to take sand. Stories abound of what happened to people who attempted to take sand from the palace.

There are some places in the palace where women are not allowed to urinate. A story is told of how an expectant mother security officer almost died for urinating indiscriminately. She was said to have vomited until sacrifices were made to atone for her “sin”.

Pointing of fingers
It is forbidden to point fingers at either the Oba or his chiefs in the palace. It is said that the Oba does not point fingers at anyone as well, except in a bid to bless or curse an individual.

Whistling
The Bini ethnic nationality believe that whistling is a communication medium between mortals and spirits as well as the dead. There are several deities within the Oba’s palace and the belief is that no one is sure of which deity is roused during whistling.

Open umbrella during festivals
Only the Oba is allowed to be covered with an umbrella during festivities or when he is going out. All guests, chiefs and visitors are to bear any harsh weather.

Wearing black clothes
Anybody wearing black is not allowed to enter the Oba’s palace. Such a person is sent away because such attires indicate mourning in many cultures. Palace sources say it is a taboo for the Oba to mourn, no matter the circumstance. He is not allowed to see black clothes.

Women not allowed at Ehengbuda Shrine
Women are not allowed to go near the Ehengbuda Shrine. Historians say Oba Ehemugba was born a haemophrodyte and that after powerful witch doctors worked on him, the female parts were removed. He was later paraded naked around the community. Any female – girl or woman – who enters the area immediately becomes infertile. To avoid barrenness among Benin girls and women, a ban is placed on females from entering the shrine’s vicinity.

Male visitors not allowed into royal harem
Male visitors are not allowed to enter the royal harem where the Oba’s wives stay. Male relatives of the Oba’s wives are also disallowed from entering or extending hands for greetings.

Carrying Banga (palm oil fruits) around the palace
It is a taboo to carry palm oil fruits on the head in or around the palace. Even vehicles carrying palm oil fruits are not allowed to pass through the streets near the Oba’s palace. The presence of palm oil fruits around the palace is said to be an indication that the land wants blood.

Dogs not allowed within the palace
Any dog that strays with the palace vicinity is killed or dies naturally.

NORTHERN GOVERNORS TO HOLD MEETING WITH U.S.

Governors of all 19 states in northern Nigeria are expected to spend three days in Washington DC next week at the invitation of the United States Institute of Peace (USIP).

They will be participating in the Northern Nigeria Governors’ Symposium from October 18 to 21 with civic leaders from the Senior Working Group of Nigeria and representatives of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Organized by the institute with support of U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations, the upcoming Symposium is the second such event in as many years.

The first one which held in May 2014 discussed security challenges caused by the Boko Haram insurgency and strategies for stabilization and development in northern Nigeria.
Speaking on Tuesday at the pre-symposium media briefing, USIP Senior Advisors and former ambassadors, Princeton Lyman and Johnnie Carson said the institute’s Northern Governors’ symposium was designed to bolster Nigeria’s commanding stature in Sub-Saharan Africa by addressing causes of instability and seeking opportunities for durable peace in the north.

Describing the country as “a significant powerhouse”, whose position in Africa compares to that of India in Asia and Brazil in South America, Mr. Carson said Nigeria also became “one of the world’s premier democracy” after the epochal election of 2015.
Mr. Lyman, who was U.S. ambassador to Nigeria 1986 to 1989, said Boko Haram insurgency opened “new frontiers for engagement” and opportunity to address the “disconnect between political power and development” in northern Nigeria.
While all 19 governors got invitation to the Symposium, as of last week, only Governors Abdullah Abubakar (Bauchi), Kashim Shettima (Borno and head of the Northern Nigeria Governors Forum), Bello Masari (Katsina), Bako Lalong (Plateau) and Waziri Tambuwal (Sokoto) have confirmed their participation.

Minister of the Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, and Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Kayode Fayemi, have also confirmed their attendance.

The governors and other participants will meet with officials from U.S. government, public agencies and corporate bodies.
USIP’s Senior Program Officer for Nigeria, Oge Onubogu, said the visiting Nigerian governors will also meet with Steve Hayes, chairman of the Corporate Council on Africa and Gayle Smith, USAID director, to discuss project priorities for northern Nigeria.
USIP officials are confident that the upcoming Northern Governors’ Symposium will build on the tangible successes of the first symposium which, according to Ambassador Carson, include the growing confidence of democratic governance as evidenced by the laudable outcome of the 2015 elections and improved governance environment with lessening of the “disconnect between northern governors and the federal government”.

OIL PRICE FALL AGAIN !

The price rally that followed the previous week’s breakthrough in production output freeze by members of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, appears to be buckling as crude oil price slipped a second day on speculation that the OPEC agreement to trim crude output will not succeed in reducing supply.

But OPEC Secretary-General, Mohammed Barkindo, said yesterday, that talks with Russia about limiting crude oil production have been very constructive.

Barkindo also said that most of the work on an agreement was already done and countries including Russia, Azerbaijan, Algeria and Venezuela, will still meet to “compare notes.” OPEC supply quotas will be decided at the group’s official gathering late November in Vienna. International oil prices had rallied since previous week from USD45 per barrel average in September to a year high of USD53.7 per barrel last weekend.

However, a major price reversal was again recorded on premium crude, Brent, yesterday when it fell 1.04 per cent to USD51.74, from USD52.28. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate for November delivery fell 76 cents, or 1.5 percent, to $50.03 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Total volume traded was 8 percent above the 100 day average. Futures dropped as much as 1.8 percent in New York. Prices have climbed since OPEC agreed on September 28 to have a new production range of 32.5 million to 33 million barrels a day. The International Energy Agency, IEA, earlier this week, said that the agreement of OPEC to curb output for the first time in eight years, has “effectively abandoned” the free market policy adopted in 2014.

The policy refers to an international market in which countries do not restrict imports from, or exports to, other countries. In the agency October report, “while the new strategy could help erode the massive oil inventory overhang, there could be another surge in American output if prices rise to $60 a barrel.” The IEA explained that “Libya and Nigeria have seen their production severely curtailed by war and sabotage, while sanctions on Iran that restricted its oil industry were lifted in January, allowing Tehran to steadily increase its production since the start of the year.

All three nations increased their production in September and the group’s total output will remain around the current record levels until November.” The agency stressed that, OPEC pumped a record 33.64 million barrels of crude a day in September, returning volumes from Libya, Nigeria and Iran which are set to be exempt from the Algiers deal suggest that “bigger cuts” would have to be made by others, notably Saudi Arabia, to meet the agreed target. The IEA Executive Director, Dr Fatih Birol has said that energy efficiency is the one energy resource that all countries possess in abundance. “I welcome the improvement in global energy efficiency, particularly at a time of lower energy prices. This is a sign that many governments push the energy efficiency policies, and it works.” He maintained that, energy efficiency policies aim to deliver the maximum amount of social and economic benefit from the energy we use.

Adding that, “For that reason, they are essential tools for government action that have a real impact on global energy demand. For instance, car fuel economy standards around the world saved 2.3 million barrels a day of oil last year or 2.5% of the global oil supply,” Birol stated

EFCC CARRIED OUT INVESTIGATIONS ON EX-GOVERNORS IN SOUTH SOUTH

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has said that it was investigating some ex-governors and politicians in the South-South region.

Zonal Head, South-South, of the anti-graft agency, Mr Ishaq Salihu, dropped the hint yesterday, while briefing newsmen in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He said that the code name for the category of politicians being investigated quietly by the commission was PEP, meaning Political Exposed Personalities, adding that over N500 million had been recovered from them.

Salihu said this year alone, the commission had recovered a total of N1,060billion, adding that it also secured 26 convictions. He said that most of the money recovered was lodged in a recovery account with the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, noting that those recovered for individuals were handed over to them. Calling on members of the public to feel free to send their petitions to the EFCC office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on economic and financial crimes related matters, Ishaq assured that all petitions will be treated accordingly. He said that the commission also arrested a lecturer of Federal University, Otuoke, “for offences bordering on issuance of dud cheques and obtaining by false pretence.

The significance of this case is that she is a serial offender having previously been arrested and arraigned by the commission before Justice R. Anikpo of the Rivers State High Court for the issuance of dud cheques and obtaining by false pretence,” he said!

NNPC, FRIS, NCS, FRSC AND OTHERS WERE INVITED TO THE SENATE TO ASCERTAIN FUND REAMING IN FEDERAL ACCOUNT

THE Senate, summoned the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Nigerian Customs Service, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, and all revenue generating agencies to ascertain the amount fund in the federation account. It said agencies were expected to disclose to the Senate what they realised in a year, their contributions to the Federation Account, how the money was spent and if was in line with the constitution.

The Senate said the invitations, which would be in line with the report of the Auditor General of the Federation, on accounts of the Federation of Nigeria for the year ended December, 31, 2011, would centre around the annual financial statements, submission of accounts, statement of assets and liabilities, consolidated revenue fund and statement.

The agencies are to inform the Senate about the revenue inflows into the federation account, concessional rentals in arrears, revenue budget performance of collecting agencies, non- rendition of mandatory annual report by FAAC to National Assembly, among others. Speaking yesterday in Abuja when the Accountant General of the Federation appeared before the Committee Public Accounts, chairman of the committee, Senator Andy Uba, said the summon would enable the agencies explain to senators if what they spend was in consonance with what was budgeted and approved by the lawmakers.

According to the Senate, the NNPC will also appear to explain why it spent beyond its stipulated budget and who approved it. The Senate, however, took a swipe at the Accountant General of the Federation for not knowing what came in from the agencies, what did not come in and what was spent. He also said the Accountant General of the Federation failed in his responsibility to post treasury officers to the agencies as checks and balances.

At this point, the Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, told the senators that he was handicapped, against the backdrop that agencies of government always chased away treasury officers sent to them as monitoring officers. Idris, who pleaded with the Senate to rescue them from the hands of the revenue generating agencies, said there were many agencies of government which money from budgets that were not accounted. He lamented that the office of Accountant General of the Federation cannot check them. Responding, chairman of the committee, Senator Andy Uba, said: “We will need to have the list of agencies that have rejected your staff to enable us invite them and enact laws that will empower you to carry out your job effectively. “The committee will ensure that there is transparency, probity and accountability in the management of public funds as well as ensuring that government financial transactions are conducted according to Financial Regulations, extant Acts and the Constitution.”

THE HUMAN RIGHTS AND ANTICORRUPTION GAVE FULL SUPPORT TO DSS ON THE APPREHENSION OF JUDGES

The Human Rights and Anti Corruption Coalition on Wednesday protested the angry backlash from some Nigerians on the State Security Services, SSS, over the agency’s recent arrest of some judges.
At the Ikeja Division of the Federal High Court, the protesters demanded a decisive action against corrupt judges in the country.

The group made the demands at a peaceful anti-corruption protest to the Federal High Court, Ikeja Division BBC Lagos.
‎”The arrest of seven judge of various courts exposed how bad the cancer of corruption has spread in our polity,” said Desmond Abiona, the Lagos coordinator of the group.
“We mourn not just because these judicial officers have been fooling us, we mourn because they were still able to get gullible citizens that are fighting for them by condemning the sequence of events and the process of their arrests.

Suddenly, arrests that were executed with valid warrants are being criticized by the same people who have been shortchanged by rogue judges all their lives. It is simply inconceivable.

An overnight assault on some senior judges in six states across the country by the SSS late Friday and early Saturday resulted in the arrest of some judges.
Officials of the SSS had told PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday that the operation was ordered after months of investigation, during which the secret police established credibly that the affected judges were involved in questionable financial dealings.

The crackdown generated heated debates across the country and, once again out Nigeria’s secret police mode of operation on the spotlight.
Of the 15 judges – from the High, Appeal, and the Supreme Court – said to be under investigation, seven were arrested during the weekend raid.
The seven judges were granted bail on Monday on self-recognition.
The protesters in Lagos challenged the arrested or indicted judges to exonerate themselves from the allegations from the SSS.
“We dare them to apply the same test of the law that they have applied to the masses on themselves and see if they will not spend the remainder of their natural lives in jail without the possibility of state pardon,” Mr. Abiona said.

Mr. Abiona also said in the coming days, some groups would be recruited by agents commissioned by the judges to hold protests alleging witch-hunt on the judiciary.
“We however want to clearly set out here that arrest of judges, or anyone found to have been corrupt is not witch-hunt, it is not politics and definitely it is not clamping down on freedoms,” he said.

In the number of years that we have returned to democratic rule, corrupt judges have been steadily eroding the gains of democracy.
“They have in some instances sold judgment to the highest bidders such that votes no longer count and millions of people are saddled with representatives and leaders they did not actually vote for.

The men and women who threatened our democratic freedom with their avarice have no right walking free when indicted, they should face the law they profess and bear their punishments if convicted.”
He further said the Nigerian Police Force could attest of their frustration in the hands of corrupt judges who turn dangerous robbers loose on Nigerian streets for money.
“Every family that has ever lost a loved one to the hails of bullets fired by judge-pampered robbers would attest to the fact that a corrupt judge is worse than a robber in that he wields a more deadly weapon as the scales of justices is superior to firearms,” Mr. Abiona said.
“Has anyone ever wondered why many of the killer kidnappers are not first timers? It is because corrupt judges always set them free everytime security agencies release them.

And yet, even the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), whose members have been fair game to kidnappers can come out to speak in favour of the corruption that is keeping criminals on our streets.
“How many terrorists have we successfully convicted and put away for good? Not many. Corrupt judges will not allow it. They will rather receive bribes and allow killers roam the land with explosive belts and AK47 than deploy the judiciary as a tool for curbing terrorism.”

The group demanded that all the judges so far indicted or arrested for corruption immediately resign “considering the magnitude of the case that the DSS has built against them.”
“The cases of those that have been given lenient punishments that amount to a slap on the wrist by the National Judicial Council (NJC) should be revisited with a view to dragging them before a law court,” said Mr. Abiona.
“The DSS must widen its investigation to take in all the petitions that the NJC has ever discarded given the fact that the council has demonstrated amply that it tends to shield corrupt judge.”

LAGOS ABDUCTED STUDENTS - FAMILY BEG TO SWAP RELATIVES FOR ABDUCTED STUDENTS

Family members of one of the ailing students that was abducted by suspected militants last Thursday, at the Lagos State Model College, Igbonla, in Eredo Local Council Development Area of Epe, have appealed to the abductors to release their relative for treatment, saying they were ready to swap another family member for the sick captive.

The family said it had managed to raise N1 million, which was contributed by relatives and friends. A strange call, suspected to be from the kidnappers, was received at 1.35p.m. yesterday, but the person at the other end was said to be silent. A relative, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said:

“My sister received a call. But the person refused to talk. Even at that, she begged the unknown caller to release our relative. “She told them that we have been able to raise N1 million and are ready to swap any of us with the ailing relative. ”

Another call also came at 6.15p.m., where the caller warned that their patience was being over-stretched, following the delay in payment of ransom. … as students return to school.

Meanwhile, some students, whose parents hurriedly took home in panic last Thursday, returned to the school yesterday. Most of those sighted were Junior Secondary School 1 students, who were resuming for the new term.

Security operatives in the school include officers of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, and two neighbourhood watch vans that drove in at 11a.m., to take over from their colleagues that had been on ground. A female member of staff, who spoke with Vanguard, said:

“You can’t abandon your home because something bad happened. All you need do is to beef up security. “This is our home and these are our children too. Not to carry on with activities is to put tension in the children.”

DIKKO SHOUTS OUT: AN ATTEMPT TO APPREHEND ME IS OUTRAGEOUS

The chairman, League Management Company (LMC), Mallam Shehu Dikko has described the latest attempt by policemen to arrest him as outrageous and bad publicity for the national team. Two unidentified policemen in mufti had attempted to arrest Dikko at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport on Sunday night on his way back from Zambia with the Super Eagles.

The policemen had fired shots into the air, threatening to shoot anybody who tried to stand on their way. Reacting to this development, Dikko, through Whatsapp chat, said it was a sad development and very outrageous.

It was a bad publicity for the national team who just recorded a major victory on its way to the 2018 World Cup. The scenario whereby the policemen fired gunshots really scared many of the players who expressed reservation of honouring national team assignments in future because their lives were not secure,” he said.

The LMC boss further stated that: “I have eight police officers attached to my house and others to my office by the Abuja CP on the orders of the Inspector General of Police, so if it’s true that my attention was needed by Abuja CP, why can’t he send for me through one of the police officers attached to me, so that means those officers have different plans.

Dikko, who also doubles as the second vice-president, NFF, however, informed that the matter had been reported to the office of the IGP “as our safety is surely being compromised”. He added that he is a law abiding citizen who has done nothing wrong to deserve such embarrassment from the police officers who could not even identify themselves. “We are following the law as law-abiding citizens and to close all issues. “We didn’t break any laws anywhere and the matters are subject to jurisdiction of the court of appeal. It’s within our right and law to take any matter to court of appeal and we would not take any steps that will compromise the appeal court process”.

OYO—A 17-year old royal rivalry between the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso I, and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi ended, yesterday, as the Olubadan of Ibadanland and members of Olubadan-in-council visited Oba Adeyemi in his palace at Oyo town.

Oba Adetunji explained that the purpose of his visit was to thank Alaafin for his presence at his coronation on Friday March 4, 2016, at the Mapo Hall Arcade, Ibadan.

He also disclosed that the visit was to strengthen the cord of unity that binds the two ancient cities together and to promote unity among the Yoruba traditional rulers.
While responding, Oba Adeyemi said he had no problem with the Olubadan describing their relationship as being cordial.

The monarch promised more cordial relationship between the people of Ibadanland and Oyo Kingdom, noting that his relationship with Oba Adeyemi was far back his coronation in 1971.
He prayed for more fruitful years for the Alaafin and himself on the thrones which their ancestors bestowed on them.
While responding, Oba Adeyemi said he had no problem with the Olubadan describing their relationship as being cordial.

The Fennec Foxes were held to a home draw in Blida by the Indomitable Lions last Sunday night. Hilel Soudani put the home side ahead, but the visitors responded through Benjamin Moukandjo to claim a valuable point on the road. “We played to win – all the players did their best to achieve the target,” Rajevac told the post game press conference. ; “We are upset with this result as we failed to beat Cameroon in the beginning of the qualifiers,” the former Ghana coach explained, before adding, “If we replayed the game again I would make some changes in the starting lineup.”

Algeria’s next match in the 2018 qualifiers sees them travel to Nigeria in less than a month’s time. The Super Eagles top the group with three points following their 2-1 away victory over Zambia.

We will try to call-up the applicable squad for the Nigeria game, who are leading the group,” the Algeria coach said. We will face a difficult opponent in Nigeria. “We will make use of Cameroon’s draw and work not to repeat our mistakes in the coming games,” Rajevac concluded.

TRUMP LASHED AT REPUBLICANS

Embattled White House hopeful Donald Trump lashed out at “disloyal” Republicans in a ranting tweetstorm Tuesday, saying they are to blame if his faltering campaign comes up short.

Declaring himself unchained from party strictures, the bombastic real estate mogul publicly berated party big-wig Paul Ryan – the speaker of the House of Representatives – as a “weak and ineffective leader.”
It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to Trump tweeted.

Relations between the Trump campaign and party leaders have always been difficult, but they have soured considerably since Democrat Hillary Clinton began to pull away in the polls two weeks ago.

The final straw for many elected Republicans was the emergence of a video in which Trump bragged about groping women. That prompted a string of disavowals and endorsement withdrawals.

Trump further alienated allies by bringing up unproven abuse allegations against former president Bill Clinton in a Sunday debate watched by tens of millions of Americans.
Trump’s angry response seems to have been prompted by Ryan effectively telling fellow Republicans to stop defending the nominee and focus on limiting electoral losses in Congress.

In a conference call on Monday, Ryan told congressional Republicans “you all need to do what’s best for you in your district,” according to one person who listened in.
Trump began the two hour cyber outburst by claiming “polls” had shown him to be the winner of the debate.
In fact, most scientific polls showed voters believed Hillary Clinton to be the clear winner.
“Despite winning the second debate in a landslide (every poll), it is hard to do well when Paul Ryan and others give zero support!” Trump tweeted.

He followed up by saying: “Our very weak and ineffective leader, Paul Ryan, had a bad conference call where his members went wild at his disloyalty.”
Democrats “have always proven to be far more loyal to each other than the Republicans.”
In an ominous sign for Republicans who are worried about losing control of the House of Representatives and the Senate, Trump sounded a belligerent note.
“Disloyal R’s are far more difficult than Crooked Hillary. They come at you from all sides. They don’t know how to win — I will teach them!”

THE REVELATIONS OF HEAVEN AND HELL TRUE STORY

*Late Nollywood Popular Actor, Sam Loco Efe Speaks From Hell: “Mercy Lord! Please, Can You Give Me Water? Can You Take Me Out? I Am In Severe Pain Here!True Divine Revelation Of The Agonies Of Tormented, Doomed Souls In Eternal Burning Hell!!!*

Early in the morning after I finished vigil with few of Overcomers Group Of Christ (OGC) members, I had this true vision. We started the vigil by 12 am and finished around 4 am. During the vigil, all of us opened up our hearts to God, calling on Him for mercy to raise us up from any area that we have fallen. The topic I taught during the vigil was “THE CHOSEN ONE.”

After the vigil, I attended and prayed for those who came for counseling and prayer. After everything, all of us went to have our rest.
AN ANGEL COMING FROM HEAVEN
Early in the morning, in a true vision, I saw a light coming out of Heaven, the more the light was getting closer, the more powerful it became. Then suddenly as the light was getting closer, it was full of glory and it began to form an image of an Angel of the living God. The Spirit of the Lord bare witness in me that He was an Angel of God, then he immediately entered my room. After that, my spirit left my body and the Angel took my hand. We began spiritual journey.
THE WIDE GATE OF HELL
Suddenly, we got to a wide gate, where I saw multitude of people traveling through the gate. The Angel said, “They are on their way to destruction.” I saw different people, both black, white, different languages, different tribes from all parts of the world. The gate was broad enough to contain them. Some on that broad road were even speaking in tongues and I asked the Angel the reason and he said, “These are Christians that profess to still be on the right way, but have fallen already, for they refuse to recognize themselves where they have fallen, their speaking in tongues is false.” Revelation 2:4-5.
The Angel continued, “Many of these still indulge in sin, they commit sin in the secret and profess to be right with God, they are backsliders in the heart, and they can not see God unless they repent and forsake their unclean ways.” Proverbs 6:25. Then I heard a loud voice warning those who were traveling through the road, saying, “Turn back, for the end of this road is destruction,” but nobody among them took any concern about the voice warning, nobody give attention to the voice and He that was speaking wept bitterly. Matthew 7:13.
THE END OF THE BROAD ROAD TO HELL
The Angel showed me the end of the broad road, I saw a very large pit and a demon was standing on it, laughing and mocking those who were traveling through the wide road. Inside the pit, I saw a fire burning and the sound of the fire was like that of the roaring sea, yet the people that were traveling through the broad road never give attention to it, because the broad road is free and there are no difficulties on it. Each person enjoys traveling there, but do not give attention to the eternal torment awaiting them.
THE VOICE OF SALVATION
Then the voice screamed again, “Turn back, the end of this wide gate is eternal destruction, turn now.” Then a man stopped and fell on his knees crying for mercy and the load on his back disappeared, because all of them carried big loads on their backs, tight with them. After the load disappeared, the man vanished out of the wide road. The demon awaiting them at the end of the road became angry because the man vanished out of the road. The demon wants all of the people traveling through the broad road to end up in that large, terrible pit of hell.
JESUS CHRIST ON THE CROSS
Jesus And The Two Thieves
Then I saw the load of that man that vanished from his back at the feet of the cross of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:7. I saw Jesus Christ; blood was coming out of His body. He looked down from the cross and said, “I HAVE PAID IT ALL, YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN.” Romans 10:9-11and 13. I saw how people got to the end of the road and fell into the large, terrible pit and screamed, but it was too late for them to turn back. Yet others do not give a single attention to their screaming, for their hearts are darkened and they hate the way of salvation. Galatians 3:1-2.
Narrow Path To Heaven & People With Load Going To Hell
Hope you are not traveling through the wide road, for the end of every evil way is destruction. After all that I saw on the wide gate and broad way to hell, the Angel took my hand to continue our journey.
TUNNEL OF HELL
Gates of Hell (3)
Suddenly, we began to pass through the tunnel that led to hell fire, where Satan dwell and his demons, then we got to a place full of darkness and fear. The souls in hell were screaming, with different languages according to their tribes when they were on earth. They wish they could hear the gospel and escape their fate in hell fire, but it was impossible. The place was very large and if the whole world chose to go there, there is enough space to contain them, for hell never gets full. Isaiah 5:14.
Then suddenly, I saw two people inside the fire. I can’t really say if both of them are male or female because the fire has seriously burned them. Maggots whose teeth were like that of a lion were crawling on their bodies and tearing their bodies like meat. Mark 9:44. Both of them were blaspheming against each other, because they were chained in the same place. A demon was tormenting them badly and the fire would cover them like a river. They wept and hate each other, but they can’t escape from where they have chosen as their destiny. I asked the Angel, “who are these, suffering in this fire and blaspheming against each other?” The Angel said, “Both of them are husband and wife.” Immediately the Angel said that, a big screen appeared and I could watch it with my own eyes, what the Angel was explaining.
The Angel continued, “All of their life on earth, they lived in the pleasure of sin, both of them hated each other, although they went to parties regularly. One day, as they were going to a party, both of them were abusing each other, then the husband lost focus while driving and a trailer hits them. They both died instantly!” I saw in the screen how their souls left their bodies after they have died. Both of them were looking at their dead bodies on the ground. Suddenly, a power took them up with a force as if something magnetized them. Hebrews 9:27. Then both of them stood before an Angel that was in charge of the Book of Life. Before it got to their turn to be judge, both of them were begging each other for how they have hurt each other while on earth and were asking for mercy that Jesus Christ should be their Lord and Saviour, but they didn’t know that there is no repentance after death. Then it got to the turn of the husband but his name was not found in the Book of Life. A loud, powerful voice spoke, “DEPART FROM ME!” and a mighty storm carried him away. He was screaming until his voice was not heard any more. When the wife got there for her name to be checked, she remembered how she always defended her children whenever they are doing evil, she wept bitterly, as she was waiting for the report of the Angel. Then the Angel told her that her name was not found in the Book of Life with sadness. Then the mighty voice spoke again, “DEPART FROM ME!” and a great, terrible storm carried her away. She screamed until her voice was not heard any more. Then the screen that I was watching disappeared. Revelation 20:15. The husband and wife were going through unbearable pain in hell fire. They regretted ever coming to earth and they were calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for mercy and for salvation but it was too late for them.
13 YEARS OLD BOY IN HELL FOR 5 YEARS!
A Boy In Hell
I saw a small boy of 13 years old, from his head to the feet, he was chained and the fire was extremely hurting him. He screamed, “Lord, help me, take me out, I seek you! A voice spoke, “IF YOU HAVE FOUND ME EARLY, I WOULD HAVE SAVED YOU.” I was wondering who was talking, then the Lord Jesus Christ appeared with glorious light and the Angel went away.
The Lord Jesus Christ told the boy, “IF YOU HAVE SEARCHED FOR MY SALVATION, YOU WOULDN’T HAVE COME HERE. I SENT YOUR FRIENDS TO YOU TO TELL YOU ABOUT ME, BUT YOU WANTED TO FOLLOW THE UNGODLY FOUNDATION THAT YOUR PARENTS HAD LAID FOR YOU. IF YOU HAVE ACCEPTED MY SALVATION WHILE ON EARTH, I WOULD HAVE SAVED YOU.” Proverbs 1:29-31.
While the boy was on earth, as young as he is, his parents corrupted him. He had access to Internet that enabled him to watch pornographic videos and pictures. He used to practice whatever he saw in the videos. He committed immorality with his young sister and usually practiced ungodly dance that he saw in the Television. The boy was very corrupted. When the boy was on earth, he usually said, “salvation is not meant for children, for Jesus Christ loved children and He can’t punish their sins.” Now, he is feeling severe pain in hell fire, for he has been there for 5 years. One day, as he was coming from school, he wanted to cross the road, but a car was coming with speed unknowingly to him, the car hit him and he died. Parents need to take care of their children, do not provide anything to them that would make them rebel against their maker. Ephesians 6:4. Then we left the place and went to another side of hell, there I saw a man in a terrible pain.
MICHAEL JACKSON FAN IN HELL!
I saw a man in hell fire, he was already a skeleton, but yet he could feel the horror of the fire. Fire was even inside his eyes and all over his body. He stood on a thorny red hot iron; he was breaking on it (break dance), as if Michael Jackson is performing his break dance.
He has tried to stop but a power kept him dancing. Then I called on him, why are you here? Then he said, “I am here because of ungodly music. While I was on earth, I was Michael Jackson fan; I loved his songs and listened to them. I used to follow his break dance and I too do the same, now I am doing the same thing here and I can’t stop it, mercy!”

As he was talking with me, he was doing break dance. He was screaming, but it was too late for him to repent, for he had been there even before the death of Michael Jackson and now he is looking for the salvation that he rejected on earth. He screamed, “Lord save me for I am sorry,” but the Lord Jesus Christ wept and didn’t say anything, for he was looking for mercy when mercy is far away, he was calling on the Lord Jesus when the Lord Jesus was far away.
Seek the Lord Jesus Christ while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6. Any music that never glorify God leads to hell, for all ungodly music leads to hell, repent now and be saved. Please after reading this true divine Revelation about the agonies of eternal burning hell, share it with your friends, neighbors, Pastor and family, for Jesus Christ is so loving and doesn’t want anyone to perish.

Whenever I remember the issue of the people we are reading in this true divine revelation, I can’t stop crying inside my heart. Hebrews 9:27.
TERRIBLE AGONY OF A DOOMED PROSTITUTE IN HELL!
I saw a lady in hell; she was so desperate to hear the Lord Jesus Christ speaking with her. She would lift up her hand and say, “Lord Jesus, if I can have another chance, I will not misuse it, Lord, have mercy on me.” The Lord Jesus looked at her with pity and said “I HAVE

DONE ALL I COULD DO TO SAVE YOU, BUT YET YOU CHOSE TO PERISH. I DID MY BEST TO GET YOU SAVED, BUT YOU IGNORED MY HELP, NOW YOUR CALAMITY HAS COME. I CAN NOT SAVE YOU AGAIN, FOR THERE IS NO REPENTANCE IN THE GRAVE.” Proverbs 1:24-26. She wept, for the fire was seriously burning her, and the fire covered her up, she screamed, for she breath in fire and drank fire and a demon was seriously tormenting her.
Then I saw the reason why she ended up her life there. She was a prostitute while she was on earth. She used to travel far to meet men that would sleep with her and gave her money. She had an appointment with a man, and the man promised to give her big money that she can use for the rest of her life, but the money would only be given after sleeping with her. On her way, the car she entered, there were some people inside it, because the car was public transport. The Lord Jesus Christ put it to the mind of the people inside the car to preach and the preacher preached. His message was very touching and it was as if he was talking to her. When the preacher concluded his preaching, he said “you may not see tomorrow, don’t abuse this great opportunity.” She wept inside her heart and the preacher led them to Christ and they all prayed for repentance. Romans 3:23-25.
After that she dropped from the car, she wanted to go back home, but Devil spoke to her, “Do you want to miss this opportunity, this is the money that would change your entire life, after this then you won’t do it again, and you will follow your Lord.” Then she was carried away with the voice of the Devil and she didn’t pay attention to the voice of her guardian angel, for Devil knew what was awaiting her. She entered another car to continue her journey, but the car was a car of kidnappers. They took her away into the bush to rape her and they tied her hands and feet, including her face. As the men were about to start, because they were 3, a light appeared and all of them fell asleep and the ropes they used to tie her became loose and she escaped for her life. What a great love from Christ! When she got to the road, Devil spoke to her, “Devil want to stop you from making this opportunity to get this money, but do you now see that the hand of God is in it to get this money.” But her guardian angel told her, “It is not true, there is a danger ahead of you, go back home and serve your Lord.” But she obeyed the voice of the Devil and continued her journey.
She got to the house of the man happily and was carried away with the beauty of the house of the man, but she forgot the scripture that said “For the love of money is the root of all evil.”1 Timothy 6:10. After a long immoral conversation with the man, both of them went to the bed, and as she was removing her clothes, the man took a demonic ring to beat her. She fell down, lost her strength and became dull and mute. Then the man took a cloth to tie her face and took her into a demonic room, for the man was a ritualist. The man beheaded her and she died. Her spirit left her body and was attempting to fix the head back; she can’t because she was already a spirit. Then suddenly, a power carried her and she vanished and appeared before the judgment seat to be judged. With a great anger a voice spoke, “DEPART FROM ME, FOR I

NEVER KNOW YOU!” and a mighty storm carried her away into everlasting punishment. Hebrews 9:27.
Doomed Soul
That was the reason why she ended up her life in hell. I wept because of her stubbornness. A demon took her into the deep of the fire, she screamed “Lord, have mercy on me,” then I suddenly saw a big snake with a thorny body, the snake began to pass through her private part and come out of her mouth, but she could not die. We left the place and went to another side. 1 Timothy 5:6.
BOKO HARAM MEMBER IN HELL!
Then I saw a man in hell, he screamed “Lord, I will follow you, I am sorry of my wickedness against your church, I need you, have mercy on me.” But The Lord said “DURING YOUR LIFE ON EARTH, YOU DID WICKEDLY AGAINST MY CHURCH. YOU DESTROYED MANY LIVES AND EVEN SOME OF THEM ARE HERE IN THIS FIRE, FOR THEY DO NOT HAVE ME IN THEIR LIFE. I HAVE GIVEN YOU ENOUGH GRACE TO REPENT. A SOLDIER SHOT YOU BUT I TOOK THE BULLET AWAY FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR SALVATION, BUT YOU WOULD NOT GIVE ATTENTION TO IT. I SPOKE TO YOU SEVERALLY IN YOUR DREAM AND IN YOUR HEART, BUT YOU REJECTED MY OFFER. NOW YOUR DESOLATION HAS COME AND YOU SHALL BARE IT ALONE. IT IS TOO LATE FOR YOU, TOO LATE FOR YOU.”
He screamed aloud, “please, I will be saved now,” he was going through severe pain, for all the people he had killed who ended up in hell were with him, around him inside the fire and their screaming was hurting him, but he could not escape there. When he was on earth, he had killed many people, then he was given a mission to bomb a church with himself, for his expectation was that he has a great reward already in heaven and that many virgins are awaiting him in Paradise. He bombed himself with a particular church and many of the church members didn’t make it to heaven. All of them were with him in hell, tormenting him with their screaming and it was too late for him to repent. John 14:6. We left the place and went to another side. We thank God for given us the grace to read the last part of this Revelation, may His name be highly praised in Jesus name.

A REVEREND IN HELL FOR IMMORALITY!
Then I saw a man that was praying in hell, in his prayer, he said “Lord, Remember how I worked for you, but I have sinned against your word, if I can found Favour in your sight, please have mercy on me, for your word said you will have mercy on whom you will have mercy, please I need you.” And The Lord said “YOU HAVE WORKED FOR ME INDEED, YOU CARE FOR SOULS THAN YOUR SOUL, YOU BROUGHT SOULS NEARER TO ME WHILE YOU ARE FAR AWAY FROM ME, YOUR SIN AND BACKSLIDDEN HAS BROUGHT YOU HERE, I AM NOT YOUR LORD, AND MY MERCY IS NOT AVAILABLE HERE.” Hebrews 10:38. Then I saw the reason why the man ended up in hell fire, in a very big screen.
When the man was on earth, churches used to invite him for programs, but he would not take his wife along, because of the desire of his flesh. After his ministration, as he was going back to lodge in the hotel, he would carry a prostitute on the road, so that they would spend the night together. He continued in his immorality and refused to repent and make restitution with his wife until he died. People thought he is in heaven, but he is suffering in hell fire, for nothing unrighteous shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. The Lord did not give attention to him again and we left the place and went to another side.
LATE POPULAR NOLLYWOOD ACTOR, SAM LOCO EFE IN HELL!
Then I saw a man with a bottle in his hand and with a long cigarette, inside the bottle was acid, and he would drank it and screamed, and His body would just burst like a bomb, and the pieces of the body would come back to normal position. Then he took the cigarette and smoke it, and his body would just burst like an egg and would be fixed back instantly.
Danger of smoking
Torment of a smoker
The man was going through pain, and screamed, “Mercy Lord, mercy!” Then I asked him, “Who are you?” Then he said, “my name is Sam Loco Efe, I am a Nigerian actor (Nollywood). I used my entire life taking alcohol and smoking
I rejected the free offer of salvation. I regret for my life, for misusing the grace I was given severally on earth to be saved. I lived in worldliness and pleasure of sin. I do not have the fear of God, please, can you give me water? Can you take me out? Can you plead with the Lord Jesus Christ on my behalf? I am in severe pain here!”
The Lord Jesus Christ said, “DIDN’T I WARNED YOU TO COME TO ME, FOR YOUR POPULARITY CAN NOT TAKE YOU OUT OF THIS PLACE. I CREATED YOU FOR MY GLORY BUT YOU MISUSED THE GLORY AND YOU LIVED FOR THE GLORY OF YOUR FATHER LUCIFER ON EARTH. IT IS TOO LATE FOR YOU, FOR THE FRIEND OF THE WORLD CAN NOT BE MY DISCIPLE, EXCEPT HE COME OUT FROM THE WORLD AND BE SEPARATED, AND JOINED MY HOLINESS. IT IS LATE TO BE SAVED.” 1 John 2:15-17. And we went away from that side to another place.
A CHOIR MEMBER IN HELL!
Torment In Hell
I saw a sister in hell fire, she was screaming for help, for Maggots and scorpions were crawling on her body. She tried to remove one and many would just come back.
She cried along “Lord, I am sorry for lying in your name, I am sorry for pretending to be what I was not, I pretended to be your daughter, but I committed fornication in the secret, I have aborted many pregnancies, I am sorry, please forgive me and take me out of this place, mercy Lord!”
And The Lord said to her “NOT EVERY ONE THAT CALL ME LORD SHALL INHERIT MY KINGDOM, BUT ONLY THOSE WHO DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER. TRULY YOU SING AND GIVE GLORY TO MY NAME, BUT YOUR PRAISE WERE REJECTED, FOR IT IS FULL OF FILTHINESS, AND IS NOT TO MY GLORY, BUT FOR THE GLORY OF SATAN YOUR FATHER. I DON’T KNOW YOU, TOO LATE TO BE MY DAUGHTER. YOU ARE A VESSEL UNTO DISHONOUR.” 2 Timothy 2:21.
When she was on earth, she lived in secret immorality, but still pretended to be stainless and pure, everybody knew her as a devoted Christian, but she was a pretender, now she is in hell fire. A demon packed scorpions and all kinds of dangerous things into her stomach and the demon told her to give birth there. She cried greatly but it was too late for her to escape. Then The Lord Jesus Christ took me back to the earth, and the true vision became over.
Vital Soul Winning Admonition Of “MARANATHA TRUMPETER”
Lake Of Fire
Satan, the deceiver and his fallen angels/demons will be thrown and confined totally into the lake of fire and sulfur eventually by God. They will be tormented forever. That will be the end of Satan’s evil activities on earth forever. “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and sulfur…and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). You will be eternally separated from God in the lake of fire and sulfur. Your soul will never die but it will be eternally tormented in the horrible burning lake. “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8).
Jesus Christ is the only way to make Heaven and escape from going to hell when you die (John 14:6). The lake of fire and sulfur will be a place of eternal torment. It will be very terrible for Satan, demons and the lost souls in that eternal burning lake. Do not end up in it! The second death is eternal separation from God in the lake of fire and sulfur (Revelation 21:8). Listen to what Jesus Christ is saying to you now: “Do not be afraid! I am the First and the Last. I am the One who lives. I was dead, but look: I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and hell.” (Revelation 1:17-18). God does not send someone to hell. You choose hell when you refuse to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour.
Dropping Into Hell
When you refuse God’s love gift of eternal life in Jesus, you willingly choose hell. Your soul will be tormented for eternity in hell when you die. When you say “No” to Jesus and His payment for your sins, you are saying that you are looking forward to dying and being cast into hell. You are telling God that you do not need Jesus Christ. You will pay for your sins in hell. Hell is for eternity! If you die without accepting the salvation of Jesus Christ, you will be tormented in hell forever! You will despair of ever having any deliverance! You will beg for death to come and take you away! However, you can only die once (Hebrews 9:27). Purgatory is a false doctrine. Reincarnation is a great satanic deception. Do not let Satan deceive you with false doctrines again.
It will be a great disaster if you die without Jesus Christ (Mark 8:36). Hell is a place of eternal torment! “The smoke from their burning pain will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest, day or night.” (Revelation 14:11). God has a perfect place for you in heaven: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no person has imagined what God has prepared for those people that love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Avoid hell. Jesus is your only way of making heaven. It will not cost you anything to accept Jesus as your personal Saviour. Accept Jesus while you are still alive. It will be too late if you die and end up in hell. Take the right decision now. “The salvation that was given to us is very great. So surely we also will be punished if we live like this salvation is not important.” (Hebrews 2:3).
“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:11-15).
The Pit Of Hell
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, ask Him to save you now! Confess all your sins and ask God to forgive you in Jesus name. Do not put it off another second! This may be your last chance before you die! Take the chance now! The salvation of Jesus is very important. Remain steadfast. Heaven will be your eternal home in Jesus name. It is very easy to accept the salvation of Jesus Christ. To accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, pray the salvation prayer below and mean it with all your heart.
Prayer gesture
Salvation Steps & Prayer
Are you still an unbeliever or unrepentant sinner? You must accept the great salvation of Jesus Christ now! If you remain in your rebellion against Jesus Christ, you will be left behind on Rapture day by Jesus Christ. Also, if you die without accepting the great salvation offer of Jesus Christ, you will end up in eternal burning hell! How can you be saved? It is very simple. Take the steps below.
Salvation
when_we_Repent
The following prayer, “The Sinner’s Prayer” (also known as the Prayer of Salvation) is by no means meant to be an “official prayer”, but rather a sample prayer to follow when asking Jesus Christ into your heart. You may certainly pray to God in your own words.
Regarding the location of the Sinner’s Prayer in the Bible? Well, there isn’t one mentioned; it is only implied. The basis of the Sinner’s Prayer comes from Romans 10:9-10. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
If you say the following prayer and mean it with all your heart; along with repenting of your sins (asking for forgiveness), we believe that you will be saved and be born again. You may be wondering, “What happens next?” First, you will need to get into a bible-based church and study God’s Word. Once you find a church home, you will want to become water-baptized. By accepting Christ you are baptized in the spirit, but it is through water-baptism that you show your obedience to the Lord. Water baptism is a symbol of your salvation from the dead. You were dead but now you live; for the Lord Jesus Christ has redeemed you for a price! The price was His death on the cross. May God Bless You!
Confession and salvation
Sinner’s Prayer
Born Again Warning
Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.
I believe that your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.
You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.
If you just said this prayer and you meant it with all your heart, we believe that there is a great possibility that you just got saved and are born again. You may ask, “Now that I am saved, what is next?” First of all, you need to get into a bible-based church, and study God’s Word. Once you have found a church home, you will want to become water-baptized. By accepting Christ you are baptized in the spirit, but it is through water-baptism that you show your obedience to the Lord. Water baptism is a symbol of your salvation from the dead. You were dead but now you live, for the Lord Jesus Christ has redeemed you for a price! The price was His death on the cross. May God Bless You!
Still Procrastinating?
Jesus & A Raptured Saint
Take these easy steps to be saved: Realize you are a sinner. “There is no person without sin. None!” (Romans 3:10). “All people have sinned and are not good enough for God’s glory.” (Romans 3:23). Realize you cannot save yourself. “We are all dirty with sin. Even our good works are not pure. They are like blood-stained rags.” (Isaiah 64:6). “He saved us because of His mercy (love), not because of any good things we did.” (Titus 3:5). Realize that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins. “Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did this so that we would stop living for sin and live for what is right.” (1 Peter 2:24). “Jesus is the one who loves us. And Jesus is the One who made us free from our sins with his blood (death).” (Revelation 1:5). Simply by faith receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. “Some people did accept Him. They believed in Him. He gave something to those people who believed. He gave them the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12). “…Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and all these people from your house.” (Acts 16:30-31). “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).
PLAGIARIZED!

PDP IN EDO SEEK FAITHFUL JUDGE IN TRIBUNAL

PEOPLES Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in the just concluded election in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in Benin City expressed confidence that the judges to be appointed into the Edo State governorship elections tribunal would be men and women of integrity, fair-minded and not those with a mind.

He spoke at a thanksgiving worship at the Trinity Sanctuary of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Benin City, as part of his family’s gratitude to God for a violence-free Edo State election, before, during and in which no life was lost. Noting that whereas the judiciary remains the last hope of the common man in his desire for justice, he insisted that as a child of God, God remains his last hope, because repeatedly, God has been true to His word and faithful in answering his prayers. “We are hopeful and praying too that God will grant us our hope of fair-minded judges for the election tribunal which will be set up. We are looking forward to men and women of credibility, who are not coming with a mindset but will be fair-minded.” On the thanksgiving service, Ize-Iyamu who is a pastor of the church, said he had cause to thank God because as, “long as we serve God, we believe that the truth will prevail. The truth is that I or the PDP did not lose the election. Edo people know who won the election. God knows who won the election.

INEC announced a fraudulent result.” He said he could not have the thanksgiving service penultimate Sunday not because he was sad at the turn of events with the election results or because he was disappointed but because he had to be in Lagos same day for a very important reason. “God knows everything about me. He knows that my heart towards him is filled with thanksgiving. So, I am thanking God for so many things. He is the God who puts kings on the throne. He is all powerful and we cannot just thank Him enough for His goodness and His mercies.”

Also speaking, Edo State PDP chairman, Chief Dan Orbih, expressed happiness to the crowd of supporters who showed up at the thanksgiving service without any special invitation, adding that it was a mark of the confidence Edo people have in the PDP and Pastor Ize-Iyamu. Orbih who said he was sad over the midnight arrest of court judges in parts of the state capital, weekend, condemned those who ordered the criminal intimidation and harassment of the law officers, describing the incident as a bad omen for the country’s democracy.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT VOWED TO TAKE AGRICULTURE TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Federal government will encourage farmers to produce more outputs and ensure food sufficiency for Nigeria, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said on Monday that government would implement a buy back scheme to guarantee minimum price for agricultural products.

The Vice President said in Abuja during the first policy dialogue session on the economy at the 22nd Nigeria Economic Summit , which opened on Monday on the theme: “Made in Nigeria.”

The scheme, Vice President. Osinbajo explained, would involve government buying up agricultural products by farmers and storing them for distribution to consumers at a time prices come down.

During harvest when prices of products are low, farmers are not usually happy. Low prices will discourage them from engaging activities to produce more food. Now, what government wants to do is to buy up all the agricultural produce when prices are high and store them so that when prices are falling, it would be able to keep a very standard price for the farmers,” the VP said.

He said at the moment, the federal government was trying to resolve with the states on who would control the silos the products would be stored.

The Vice President said the state governments insisted they wanted to control and run the silos, rather than privatizing them, pointing out that since the federal government has the farmers, they should control the silos.

We are working with the state governments to control some of the silos. The states are going to control the whole process, but the federal government is looking for intermediate buyers to buy and store. The states want the federal government to stay away so they can work directly with the private sector,” he stated.

He said disagreement has resulted in a change in the way things were going, saying although the Ministry of Agriculture was trying originally to privatize the silos, the states have insisted on taking over the process.

According to the states, it would be better for sub-nationals to handle the silos, since failure of the process at the centre would mean a complete loss, saying government believed apart from its commitment to its success, without the states, it plans for buy back would not work.

On competition for technology innovation involving about 4,000 young people in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja, the vice president said government was training 65,000 young people in technology innovated businesses to create opportunities for young people.
He said by organising technology hubs in each of the six geo-political zones, apart from Lagos and Abuja, government was encouraging young people to go into technology.
“Look at animated cartoons alone, we are also training in animation”, he said.

ALLOWANCE OF THE YOUTH CORP REMAINED UNREDUCE

The National Youth Service Corps on Monday denied the reports that it had slashed the allowances of corps members by 25 percent.
A statement by the spokesperson for the NYSC, Mrs. Abosede Aderibigbe, in Abuja, said the allowance of corps members has not ch from N19,800 and it was not reduced to N14,800.
She said, “The management of the NYSC therefore proved wrong the report of the mischievous information flowing in the social media to the effect that corps members’ allowance has been reduced N14,800. In the first instance, the document quoted a ‘Brigadier General Bamidele Oluwami’,  the purported NYSC Director-General, as the source of its information.

“The NYSC vehemently dissociates itself from this wicked falsehood meant to create confusion in the polity. The Director-General of the NYSC is Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure and he never made any comment as claimed by the brains behind the damaging publication.

The management hereby categorically states that corps members’ allowance remains N19,800. For the avoidance of doubt, we unequivocally restate our unalloyed commitment to the welfare of all corps members at all times.

Corps members and the public should therefore ignore this misleading information and go about their duties lawfully without fear.

OVER #270 MILLIONS WAS RECOVERED FROM THE HOUSE OF APPREHENDED JUDGES:DSS

pub-5938202183441139Tpub-5938202183441139he Department of State Service, DSS Saturday said it recovered over N270 Million from the residences of three judges following its simultaneous raids on Friday night‎ of the residences of over seven justices of the Supreme, Federal and high courts across the country. A break down of the monies recovered from the residences of the unnamed three justices include N93,558,000; $530,087; £25,970 and €5,680. ( = window.

Addressing a press conference at the DSS headquarters yesterday to explained why it carried out the raids, an official of the service, Mallam Garba Abdullahi said it was aimed at restoring “sanity and sanctity to the esteemed third arm of government”.

According to Mallam Garba, a planned raid on the residence of a judge in Rivers where the service, he said, had intelligence that he had $2million in cash at home was frustrated by Governor Nyesom Wike who brought in thugs to prevent the service from carrying out its mission in connivance with an unnamed sister security agency. He explained that the operations were based on allegations of corruptions and other ‎acts of professional misconduct by the suspected justices.

The DSS official further defended the action of the service saying it was in line with us core mandate, adding that the affected justice’s “expensive and ‎luxurious” lifestyle was being monitored by the service for some time
